Randall K. Tozer, M.D. Read Dr. Tozer's Bio
 Dara L. Shahon, M.D. is an ophthalmologist specializing in dry eye disorders as well as medical eye diseases. As an eye M.D., her patients are evaluated and treated for dry eye conditions, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and numerous other medical diseases. In addition, Dr. Shahon performs routine exams for glasses and contact lenses, annual eye evaluations, and emergency eye care.
Dr. Shahon was born in Toronto, Canada where she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She received awards in pharmacology, graduated with highest honors, and was invited to become a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. Dr. Shahon completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Josephs Hospital in Phoenix and then entered her Ophthalmology residency program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident during her final residency year. During her training, Dr. Shahon published several papers on wound healing and treatment options for myopia.
Dr. Shahon is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has been practicing with Dr. Tozer since 2000.
 Shane W. Theobald, O.D. graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 with a degree in Zoology/Human Biology. He then continued his education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where he graduated summa cum laude in 2006. He had been practicing primary eye care in the east valley for more than four years before joining Tozer Eye Center in May 2010. Dr. Theobald is well trained in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fits, and the diagnosing and treatment of eye diseases.
He is available for appointments Monday through Friday, and in order to serve those patients who need more flexibility in scheduling, Dr. Theobald will be available until 7:00pm on Tuesdays.
Dr. Theobald lives in the East Valley with his wife and three children. His hobbies include golf and spending time with his family.
