Are you seeing new patients?
Yes, many of our patients come to us on a referral-basis; however, we always welcome new patients.

Can I get my eye glasses at your office?
Yes, we have a full-service optical shop with a certified optician to help you with your eyeware needs - including a large variety of contact lenses and sun wear as well. To learn more about our optical shop, click here.

Do you accept medicare assignment?
Yes, we will also bill your secondary insurance if needed.

Do you perform LASIK?
Yes. Please schedule a free consultation to see if LASIK is right for you.

How often should I have my eyes examined?
Following are guidelines unless otherwise directed by Dr. Tozer.
Once before age five, assuming regular screening eye exams are done by pediatrician. Every 3 years until the age of 40. Every 2 years from the ages of 40-65. Every 1-2 years after age 65.

What should I bring to an eye exam?
Please bring your glasses or contacts, list of current medications, insurance information (insurance cards), and referral from Primary Care Provider (PCP) if required by insurance company.

When should I have my child's eyes examined?
Assuming your child's pediatrician does regular annual screenings, your child's eyes should be examined by an ophthalmologist once before the age of five.

Will my eye exam be covered by my insurance?
Routine eye exams may or may not be covered. If there is a diagnosis, please refer to your insurance benefits for coverage.

Will my eyes be dilated after my exam? How long will the dilation last and can I drive after being dilated?
Assuming you will have a complete eye exam, you will be dilated. Once dilated, you will be given reversal drops which will enable you to drive 15 to 30 minutes following the examination.
