For twenty-four years, Randall K. Tozer, M.D. has been a practicing ophthalmologist in the Scottsdale area. Dr. Tozer is dedicated to your better vision and healthier eyes with extensive surgical and medical experience with all eye problems including glaucoma, retinal disease, corneal problems and cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK). He also performs routine eye care for glasses and contact lenses.
Educated at Dartmouth College (1975) and Southern Illinois University's School of Medicine (1978), Dr. Tozer completed his first residency in internal medicine at the Miriam Hospital at Brown University (1981). He then completed his ophthalmic residency at the Kresge Eye Institute (1984) at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Tozer is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tozer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Maricopa County Medical Society, the Arizona Ophthalmologic Society, American Medical Association and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Tozer is certified in VISX STAR Excimer Laser and LASIK / Hansatome. In 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Dr. Tozer was recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a TOP DOC. He is also listed in Consumers' Research Council of America's "Guide to America's Top Ophthalmologists" 2006 edition.
Dr. Tozer resides in Paradise Valley with his wife Beverly S. Tozer, M.D. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.
